In singles play, it took four courts going into a third and final set including two tie breaking sets in order for the Spartans to knock off the Falcons 4-2 on Criste Courts.

How It Happened:
Doubles:

The Falcons dropped court three when Elijah Noll / Luke Risser fell short losing 6-3. On court two, Brady Hahn / Tim Sheaffer provided a 6-3 win to force a point deciding match on court one. Chase Wilson / Lance Wilson would ultimately fall short 6-3 to give the Spartans the 1-0 match lead.

Despite a point tying win from Timothy Sheaffer on court five winning 5-7, 6-2, 6-1, it would come down to the remaining three courts to decide a MAC Commonwealth Championship. On court three, Brady Hahn was the first to fall when he dropped a three set match 6-4, 2-6, 7-6, coming down to the final two courts. It was a tight race between court four and court six in who would finish first, the Falcons needed to win both in order to pull out the match win. However, Elijah Noll would fall in a tie breaking set when he split the first two sets 6-4, 7-6(4), going on to drop set three 7-6(7-5) giving the Spartans the 4-2 overall win.
