Men's Tennis Earns Two Major Awards; Five Named to All-Conference Teams

NEWTON, Pa. - On Monday afternoon, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced this seasons All-MAC Commonwealth teams. The Messiah men's tennis team earned two major awards and five named to All-Conference Teams. 

Jon Arosell was named this seasons MAC Commonwealth Coach of the Year and Chase Wilson earned the honor of MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year. 

Chase Wilson earned MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year along with heading up the First Team. Wilson was the primary singles player for the Falcons, finishing the season with an 9-8 overall record, 6-0 in conference play.

In his first season with the Falcons, Lance Wilson rounded out the MAC Commonwealth First Team. Wilson was on the twos court for the Falcons for most of the season. Wilson finished with an overall record of 9-8, and a perfect 6-0 in conference play.

Brady Hahn was named to the MAC Commonwealth Second Team in his first year with the Falcons. Hahn finished with an overall record of 6-10, 3-2 in conference play. Elijah Noll was also added to the MAC Commonwealth Second Team. Noll was a pivotal player for the Falcons in the four sport. Noll finished the season with a 8-8 record, and a perfect 4-0 in conference play. Lastly, Luke Risser rounded out the MAC Commonwealth Second Team. Risser finished with an impressive overall record of 9-2, and 5-0 within the conference.
