Women's Tennis Earns One Major Award; Five Named to All-Conference Teams

NEWTON, Pa. - On Monday afternoon, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced their 2025 Women's Tennis major award winners and All-MAC teams. The Falcons earned one major award and five All-Conference selections. 

Jon Arosell was named MAC Commonwealth Coach of the Year. In his 14th year at the helm, Arosell led the women's team to their second straight MAC Commonwealth championship, and the programs sixth conference championship appearance.

Kiara Bomboy and Kylie Walker head up the First Team honors. Junior Bella Heckman and Sophomore Izzy Ipri earned Second Team honors, then to round out the five selections, Jocelyn Valdez picked up an Honorable Mention Team. 

Kiara Bomboy earned First Team All MAC Commonwealth in her sophomore season. This was Bomboy's first season on the one's court for the Falcons. Bomboy finished the season with an overall record of 11-6, and 4-1 in conference play.

Junior Kylie Walker also earned First Team All MAC Commonwealth. Walker was the primary twos court participant for the Falcons. Walker was Bomboy's counterpart in doubles play. She finished the season with an overall record of 9-9, and 4-1 in conference play. 

Bella Heckman earned herself Second Team All MAC Commonwealth. Heckman finished with an overall record of 8-9, and 4-1 in conference play. Izzy Ipri also added her name to the Second Team selection with an overall record of 7-7, 4-1 in conference play.

Lastly, Jocelyn Valdez was selected to the Honorable Mention team.
