Softball Earns Three Major Awards; Six Named To All-Conference Teams

NEWTON, Pa. - On Friday afternoon, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced the 2025 Softball All Conference major award winners and all conference teams. The Messiah Softball team earned three major awards and also six Falcons were named to all conference teams. Hannah Dyer was named the conferences Player of the Year, and Maggie Chinnadurai earned Pitcher of the Year for the Falcons. 

Amy Weaver was honored with MAC Commonwealth Coach of the Year. Leading the team to its 12th conference championship. 

Hannah Dyer, Kandice Schlabach, and Maggie Chinnadurai played their way to earning All-MAC First Team honors. Allie Book, Fallon Feaser, and Brielle Rosario rounded out the group on the All-MAC Second Team. 

Hannah Dyer earned herself Player of The Year honors along with a First Team selection with her incredible play throughout the season. Dyer finished the year batting (.377) with an 1.260 OPS, and a team high .529 OB%. 

Maggie Chinnadurai was announced as the MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of The Year as well as a First Team selection. Chinnadurai closed out the season 22-3 including pitching both conference championship games leading the Falcons to a MAC Commonwealth title. 

Kandice Schlabach rounded out the All-MAC First Team with her strong play at second base and at the plate. Schlabach finished with a team high nine home runs and 40 RBI, while batting (.391) on the year. 

Allie Book found herself on the All-MAC Second Team. Book had an outstanding year at first base for the Falcons, with a career year at the plate. Book batted a team high .429 on the season in all 44 games played. Book tallied 38 RBI, 13 doubles, 57 hits. 

Fallon Feaser played a big role for the Falcons as both pitcher and a utility player. Feaser earned herself a All-MAC Second Team selection for her play this season. In the circle, Feaser finished with a record of 10-4 striking out 65 batters in 104.1 IP. At the plate, Feaser batted .364 on the year, with 47 hits, 39 RBI, and a .935 OPS. 

Lastly, Brielle Rosario rounded out the teams selections earning a All-MAC Second Team. Rosario was a strong presence in the outfield for the Falcons, along with great play at the plate. Rosario finished the year batting .366, 41 hits, 23 RBI, and a .402 OB%.
