NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – On Wednesday afternoon, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced their 2025 Academic Honor Squads and Honor Roll. The Messiah University women's lacrosse team earned the Academic Honor Squad honor, and eight players were named to the Division III Honor Roll.
The IWLCA named 376 schools across all divisions as Academic Honor Squads for the 2024-25 season. To qualify for the honor, the team must post a 3.2 team GPA or higher for the whole academic year.
The IWLCA also named 1,284 student-athletes from 202 different schools on the 2024-25 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll. Student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or a graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater to be named to the honor roll.
