GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Messiah University women's basketball team earned the top seed in the 2026 MAC Commonwealth Tournament after a 13-1 record in conference play this season. The top-seeded Falcons host the fourth-seeded Spartans of York College on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 7:00 p.m. in the MAC Commonwealth Semifinals. The winner of the game will play the winner of Widener University and Alvernia University on Saturday, Feb. 28. Check out the MAC Commonwealth Tournament preview below.

The top-seeded Falcons of Messiah University enter the MAC Commonwealth Tournament with a 21-4 overall record with a 13-1 record in conference play. The Falcons only conference loss this season was against Albright College on Jan. 14. The game against the Lions was the Falcons last loss, as Messiah has ended the regular season with 11-straight wins. The Falcons this season have been impressive at home with an 11-1 record, with their only loss coming against No. 22 Elizabethtown College in overtime.

The Spartans of York College enter the 2026 MAC Commonwealth Tournament with a 10-15 overall record with an 8-6 record in conference play. The Spartans finished off the season strong winning four of their last five games to earn the fourth seed in the MAC Commonwealth Tournament.
