NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending March 8, 2026. A total of 26 student-athletes were recognized for performances from March 2, 2026 to March 8, 2026. Messiah earned four honors, sweeping both Men's Volleyball and Women's Lacrosse for the week.
Alex Kagoro and
Todd Snyder earned honors for Men's Volleyball, being named offensive and defensive player of the week respectively. For Women's Lacrosse,
Hayley Lettinga and
Hannah Gawne earned offensive and defensive honors respectively.
Alex Kagoro led the No. 6 Falcons in a 4-0 week, collecting 26 kills across six sets, hitting .392. In a pair of 3-0 sweeps over Widener and No. 20 Vassar on Saturday, Kagoro tallied eight and 18 kills respectively. He added an assist, service ace, 10 digs, and five blocks across the two matches.
In a 4-0 week for the No. 6 Falcons,
Todd Snyder collected three blocks and five kills in two sets of a 3-0 sweep over Widener on Saturday. He then added four blocks and three digs against No. 20 Vassar while tallying eight kills.
Senior
Hayley Lettinga had a dominant week for the No. 19 Falcons, scoring 10 goals in two games. In a battle with No. 4 Salisbury on Wednesday, Lettinga notched four goals in the Falcons 12-11 loss. In a 25-18 win over Washington College, Lettinga tallied six goals, adding six draw controls and two ground balls.
Hannah Gawne contributed on both ends of the field in a 1-0 week for the No. 19 Falcons. In a 12-11 loss to No. 5 Salisbury, Gawne tallied six draw controls, one caused turnover, and a ground ball while adding a goal. In Saturday's 25-18 win over Washington College, Gawne collected a career high 10 draw controls. She added two caused turnovers and two ground balls while also tallying a pair of goals and a pair of assists.
