CHAPLIN PARK, S.C. – Messiah Women's Tennis was back in action this afternoon against Pfeiffer University, falling 5-2. After taking the point in doubles, the Falcons would fall on five of six singles courts to drop the match.

Doubles
Kiara Bomboy and
Kylie Walker started the day with a 7-5 win on court one.
Katelyn Good and
Bella Heckman then dropped a close match on court three, 7-5.
Susan Arp and
Taryn Zerby then won a tightly contested third match, winning 7-6 (10-8 in the tiebreak) to take an 1-0 overall lead.
Singles
Taryn Zerby started singles with a win on court two in two sets (6-1, 6-3).
Susan Arp then dropped a close match on court three, falling in a 10-point tiebreak (4-6, 6-3, 8-10).
Kiara Bomboy then fell in straight sets on court one (5-7, 0-6).
Kylie Walker fell in straight sets on court four (2-6, 1-6) and
Bella Heckman fell in two sets on court five (2-6, 1-6). In the final match,
Katelyn Good fell in two close sets (3-6, 5-7), giving Pfeiffer the 5-2 win.
