HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Messiah Men's Tennis team was back in action today, dropping a close contest to Baldwin Wallace, 4-3. The two teams split the six singles courts 3-3, with Baldwin Wallace getting the point from doubles to win the match.

Doubles
Brady Hahn and
Lance Wilson picked up a 6-2 win on court one to start the day. However, the teams of Tim Sheaffer and
Elijah Noll, and
Luke Risser and
Xane Whitesel would fall on courts two and three, giving the point to Baldwin Wallace.
Singles
Brady Hahn fell in two sets on court one, but
Lance Wilson picked up a two-set win on court two (6-4, 6-0) soon after.
Elijah Noll then won his match on court three after a ten-point tie break (6-7, 6-1, 10-7). Tim Sheaffer also won after a ten-point tiebreak on court four (0-6, 6-0, 10-6), giving Messiah a 3-2 lead overall. However,
Luke Risser and
Xane Whitesel would fall on courts five and six to give the Baldwin Wallace the win.
