GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Messiah Men's Tennis team was back in action on Saturday afternoon against Lebanon Valley College, defeating the Dutchmen. The Falcons took court one and three in doubles to get the lone doubles point, before winning five of six singles courts to take the match, 6-1.
Up next, the Falcons travel to McDaniel College for a matchup against the Green Terror on Wednesday, Mar. 25, at 3:30 p.m.
Doubles
On court one,
Brady Hahn and
Lance Wilson rolled to a 6-4 win. The team of
Elijah Noll and
Timothy Sheaffer than fell in a close contest on court two, 7-5.
Luke Risser and
Xane Whitesel then won 6-3 on court three, giving the Falcons the lone point from doubles.
Singles
Lance Wilson made quick work on court two, winning in two sets (6-2. 6-1).
Elijah Noll followed with a three-set win on court three (3-6, 6-3, 6-2).
Brady Hahn then came back from a one-set deficit on court one, winning it three sets (4-6, 6-3, 6-4) to seal the match for the Falcons.
Timothy Sheaffer won in straights on court four (6-1, 7-5), and
Xane Whitesel won in two sets on court six (7-5, 6-1).
Luke Risser then fell on court five after a 10-point tiebreak.
