GRANTHAM, Pa. – Messiah Athletics had three student-athletes named to their respective sports' Team of the Weeks for their performances from March 23, 2026 to March 29, 2026.
Christian Foltz and
Matt Luchovick were both named to D3baseball.com Team of the Week and
Owen Hammel was named to USILA Division III Men's Lacrosse Team of the Week.
Christian Foltz pitched the 36th perfect game in DIII history as Messiah defeated Hood 6-0. Foltz got the final out on a lineout to third to give him the perfect game on 94 pitches and nine strikeouts.
Matt Luchovick slashed .571/.571/1.429 in four games. Six of his eight hits in 14 at-bats were for extra bases: three doubles and three home runs. He scored five runs while driving in nine.
Owen Hammel scored three goals while tallying three assists and one ground ball. Hammel led Messiah with the three goals and three assists in the 1605 win over Arcadia, scoring the three goals on three shots for a perfect shooting percentage.
