GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Messiah Men's Tennis team was back in action today for a big matchup at home against the Lions of Albright College, with the teams being tied for first in the MAC Commonwealth heading into the matchup. The Lions took two of three doubles courts to win the doubles point to start the day. The Falcons then fell on five of six singles courts, including a few three-set battles, giving Albright a 6-1 win.

Doubles
The team of
Xane Whitesel and
Luke Risser fell on court three to begin doubles play.
Timothy Sheaffer and
Elijah Noll then dropped court two, 6-3, to give Albright the doubles point.
Brady Hahn and
Lance Wilson finished out doubles with a 6-4 win on court one in a highly competitive match.
Singles
Timothy Sheaffer fell in two sets on court four to begin singles play (1-6, 0-6).
Micah Batson then fell in two sets on court six (2-6, 4-6).
Elijah Noll dropped a tough two-setter on court three (1-6, 6
4-7
7), and
Luke Risser fell in three sets on court five (6-4, 2-6, 2-6).
Brady Hahn then dropped his match on court two in three sets (3-6, 6-1, 2-6). Finally,
Lance Wilson ended the day with a win on court one after taking a ten-point tie breaker (6
5-7
7, 7-5, 12-10).
