GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Messiah Men's Tennis team is set to host the semi-final of MAC Commonwealth tournament after the Falcons earned the second seed, going 4-1 in conference play, and 8-8 overall.
The Falcons will begin postseason action against the No. 3 seed Eastern University Eagles, who come to Grantham for a semi-final contest on Wednesday, Apr. 29, at 3:30 p.m. In the regular season matchup between the two teams, Messiah won 7-0 without dropping a single set on all nine courts. In the other semi-final, No. 1 Albright College will host No. 4 Stevenson University for a spot in the MAC Commonwealth final. Check out the tournament preview below.

No. 2 Messiah University Falcons

Season Recap
The Falcons enter the tournament after going 8-8 overall and 4-1 in MAC Commonwealth play in the regular season. The Falcons went 1-2 in the Fall slate of their season and 1-3 over their annual Spring break trip to fall to 2-5. The Falcons then went 6-3 over their final nine matches heading into postseason action.

The Lions went 4-1 during the Fall season and then winning their Spring opener to move to 5-1. The Lions then dropped three straight matches but responded by winning their last eight matches to finish 13-4 and a perfect 5-0 in conference play.
