Baseball Heads to Shenandoah For NCAA Regionals

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – On Monday afternoon, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced the field for the 2026 Division III Baseball Tournament. The Messiah University baseball team will travel to Winchester Va. at Shenandoah University this weekend.
 
The Falcons will open the double-elimination regional against the Pioneers of Transylvania University on Friday, May 15 at 2:30 p.m. The game between Shenandoah and Farmingdale St. will take place at 11:00 a.m. prior to the Messiah game. The losers of both games will play at 11:00 a.m. and the winners will play at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 16.
 
The Falcons earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after sweeping Widener University to win their second-straight MAC Commonwealth Championship. The Falcons enter the tournament with a 32-12 overall record with a 19-2 record in conference play.
 
Transylvania University earned an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament after defeating Rose-Hulman in the HCAC Tournament. The Pioneers enter the tournament with a 29-12 overall record with a 20-4 record in conference play.  
 
The Hornets of Shenandoah University earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after winning the ODAC Tournament over the University of Lynchburg. The Hornets enter the tournament with a 35-10 overall record with a 13-7 record in conference play.
 
Farmingdale St. earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after defeating Merchant Marine Academy in the Skyline Conference Championship. The Rams enter the tournament with a 27-9 overall record with a 16-4 record in conference play.
