SWARTHMORE, Pa. – This weekend, the Messiah University softball team heads to Swarthmore, Pa. for the 2026 NCAA Regionals. The Falcons open the double-elimination regional against the fourteenth-ranked Garnet of Swarthmore College on Thursday, May 14 at 11:00 a.m.
The Spartans of Case Western Reserve University and the Muskies of Muskingum University play in the other regional game on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

Three-Day All-Session Passes will be available for purchase as well. This ticket will be valid for ALL games over the duration of the three days (Thursday, May 14-Saturday, May 16). No refunds will be offered if your team does not advance to the third day.

Messiah University Falcons
29-15 Overall Record, MAC Commonwealth Champions

The Falcons enter the NCAA Tournament with a 29-15 overall record with a 13-1 record in MAC Commonwealth play. Messiah had a slow 1-6 start to the season but won 10 of their next 11 games to move to 11-7. The Falcons then had a big conference sweep over York College during a 9-3 stretch, moving to 20-10. The Falcons went 5-4 over their final nine games, including a win at Eastern and sweep over Alvernia to clinch the tournament's top seed, finishing the regular season with a 25-14 record.

The Falcons fell in game one on Friday to York but responded with a 9-1 win over Eastern later in the day to advance to the MAC Commonwealth Championship game. The Falcons won game one 10-6 in 10 innings in game one and then won game two, 12-4 to win the MAC Commonwealth Championship for the second-straight season.
The Falcons enter the tournament as one of the top offenses. The Falcons rank eighth in the country with 438 hits and 23rd with a .356 batting average.
