NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – On Friday afternoon, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) honored 256 student-athletes in Division III with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2026. These student0=-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 1026 IWLCA Division III All-American Teams on May 22. Hayley Lettinga and
Grace Pettitt being named to the Metro Region First Team with
Hannah Gawne and
Grace Hejeebu being named to the Metro Region Second Team.
Hayley Lettinga led the Falcons with 82 goals and added 13 assists in a dominant senior season. She tallied 51 draw controls, 20 caused turnovers, and 32 ground balls. She was first in the conference with 3.89 goals per game and third with 4.32 points per game. She led the conference with 10.37 shots per game. These are the second straight All-Region honors for Lettinga and her first First Team honor.
Junior
Grace Pettitt has continued to be a strong offensive force for the Falcons, leading the team with 126 points on 68 goals and 58 assists. She shot .540 with a .810 shots on goal average. She added 19 caused turnovers and 29 ground balls. Pettitt led the conference with 6.00 points per game and 2.89 assists per game. Her successful junior campaign earned her the second straight First Team All-Region honors of her career.
Hannah Gawne was named to the Second Team, collecting the first All-Region honor of her career. The senior was an all-around contributor to the Falcons success this season, playing both ends of the field well. Gawne tallied 34 goals and 11 assists through the season. She led the Falcons with 108 draw controls, 31 caused turnovers, and 61 ground balls. She was second in the conference with 5.05 draw controls per game, third in the conference with 2.84 ground balls per game and tallied 1.42 caused turnovers per game.
Senior
Grace Hejeebu was named Second Team All-Region for the first time in her career. Hejeebu maintained an 8.69 goals against average while averaging 7.81 saves per game. She tallied a .482 save percentage in goal.
