NEWTOWN, Pa. – On Monday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced their 2025-26 MAC Commonwealth women's tennis major awards winners and ALL-MAC Commonwealth teams. The Falcons swept the major awards and had five players earn All-MAC Commonwealth honors.
Kiara Bomboy earned Player of the Year, and
Taryn Zerby was named Rookie of the Year. Head coach
Jon Arosell was named Coach of the Year. Bomboy, Zerby, and
Susan Arp all earned first team honors, while
Kylie Walker and
Bella Heckman earned second team honors.
Kiara Bomboy earned MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year, going 8-7 over in singles and 11-4 in doubles. In conference play, Bomboy didn't drop a match, going 5-0 on the top singles court and 5-0 in doubles on court one.
Taryn Zerby earned MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year, going 9-2 overall in singles and 11-1 in doubles. In conference play, Zerby was a perfect 5-0 in singles on court two, and 5-0 on doubles court one.
Susan Arp earned first team honors, going 13-1 overall in singles and 13-3 in doubles during her freshmen campaign. In conference play, Arp went 4-0 in singles and 5-0 in doubles.
Kylie Walker earned second team honors, going 10-5 overall in doubles on the season. In conference play, Walker 3-2 in singles play and was 4-0 in doubles.
Bella Heckman earned second team honors, going 8-6 overall in singles and 10-6 in doubles. In conference play, Heckman went 4-1 in singles play and was 5-0 in doubles.
Jon Arosell was named MAC Commonwealth Coach of the Year, leading the Falcons to a 12-6 overall record, going 5-0 in the MAC Commonwealth, earning the top-seed for the conference tournament and making the MAC Commonwealth final.
