Isaiah Parido as the DIII National Position Player of the Year after his historic season for Messiah baseball. Parido is the first player in program history to be named National Player of the Year.
The unanimous All-American, Parido was named National Position Player of the Year after a historic season for the Falcons. Parido led the Falcons with a .411 batting average, 79 hits, 20 home runs, 71 RBIs, 20 doubles, four triples, 84 runs scored, a .519 on-base percentage, a .870 slugging percentage, and 34 stolen bases. Parido broke the single season record for the Falcons for hits, doubles, home runs, RBIs, extra-base hits, runs scored, and total bases (167). Through Super Regionals, Parido ranks first in the country in runs and total bases, second in home runs, fifth in slugging percentage, sixth in walks (44), eighth in RBIs, and ninth in hits. Parido is just the fourth All-American in program history and just the second First-Team All-American in program history.
