GRANTHAM, Pa - Messiah University women's soccer is excited to introduce the incoming class of 2026. "We are looking forward to what this new class of players brings to the team and program. Serena Hua - Troy High School / Troy, MI
Serena is a talented left-footed outside back who helped Troy to the Michigan State Final game this past spring. She dished out eight assists on the year and was name to both the All-Conference and All-District teams. Serena played her club soccer with the ECNL Michigan Hawks Magic.
Coach Frey – "Serena is a sound technical player with great club experience. Her ability to play on the left side brings an important element to the team. An excellent passer of the ball she will be a great fit into our system and style of play."
Lauren Kenny – Veritas High School / Glen Allen, VA
Lauren is a very versatile and dynamic player. She was a dominant figure at Veritas High School where she earned All-State Honors three straight seasons and was named the Virginia DII Player of the Year in 2025. In her senior year she scored 30 goals to bring her career total to 60 to go along with her career mark of 59 assists. A multi-sport athlete she wan an outstanding basketball player as well. Lauren played her club soccer with Richmond United ECNL-RL.
Coach Frey – "Lauren possesses outstanding pace with good skills. A very versatile player that has played various positions over her career. I'm looking forward to finding the best spot that utilizes the strengths she brings to the team."
Lilly Rineer – Penn Manor High School / Lancaster, PA
Lilly had an outstanding career at Penn Manor High School where she earned L-L League First Team honors as well as All-State recognition. A talented central mid-fielder she scored 23 goals with 23 assists in her high school career. She was named the Penn Manor High School Senior Female Athlete of the Year. Lilly played her club soccer with the PA Classics GA team along with the USLW Lancaster Inferno.
Coach Frey – "Lilly is one of the most positive and energetic persons I have met. A love of the game and the team. A very strong and technical player who impacts the game on both sides of the ball. I see Lilly adding to the depth of our mid-field corp."
Maddie Robinson – Wilmington Christian / Landenberg
Maddie is a strong and physical center-back who played her club soccer with Delaware Football Club. She played her junior and senior years of high school at Wilmington Christian. There she was a two time All-Conference First-Team selection. In her senior season she netted 17 goals and handed out 14 assists.
Coach Frey – "Maddie brings a tough, hard, physical presence to the field along with sound technical skills. I see her developing as a center-back or outside-back and growing into an effective contributor on the field.
Reagan Wagner – Manheim Township High School / Lancaster, PA
Reagan was the keeper for the always strong Manheim Township High School team that captured the L-L League Division I Title and PIAA District 3 Championship this past season.
Coach Frey – "I see Reagan as a diamond in the rough. She hasn't had the opportunity to receive a lot of specific keeper training in her career but has show the ability to compete at a high level in high school. I'm excited to see Reagan's growth under the training of Coach Watkins."
Rebecca Witter – Mechanicsburg High School / Mechanicsburg
Rebecca joins us from nearby Mechanicsburg High School and played her club soccer with Keystone FC Girls Academy. Rebecca had a stellar senior season scoring 14 goals along with 5 assists as their team advanced to the PIAA District 3 final. She was named First-Team All-Conference and to the PennLive All-Star First-Team.
Coach Frey – "Rebecca is a very driven and committed player. Her versatility on the field makes her a great asset as she can play various places effectively. She is very athletic and possesses a high work rate along with a good understanding of the game. I'm anxious to see how she grows and develops in our program and find a spot that best fits her skill set.
Messiah Women's Soccer opens the season at Penn St. Harrisburg on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 7:00 p.m. The Falcons host the 2026 home opener against the Blue Jays of Johns Hopkins University on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
