GRANTHAM, Pa. – On Monday afternoon, Messiah University Athletics announces
Morgan Strehlow as the head coach of the men's and women's tennis teams. Strehlow joins the Falcons with four years of college tennis playing experience and eight years working at Division I Universities.
Strehlow played four years at Hardin Simmons University, where she was named Distinguished Scholar-Athlete of the Year and earned Conference First Team honors as well as Hardin Simmons Leadership Student of the Year. After graduating from Hardin Simmons, Strehlow earned her master's degree from Texas A&M University. She went on to work at the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association, University of Arkansas, and Baylor University before transitioning to a communications strategist and literary agent.
Strehlow has worked for professional tennis events such as the Davis Cup, Charleston Open, and Dallas Open and has served on various USTA Texas and USTA National committees, including the National Collegiate Pathway Committee. She previously taught tennis at Northridge Country Club in Texas.
