First Quarter

Joy Lippert made the save to maintain the 1-0 lead for the Falcons.
Second Quarter
The Sea Gulls came out firing in the second quarter, earning an early penalty corner that resulted in a shot off the post and a shot that resulted in a defensive save by
Addie Musser. A minute later,
Joy Lippert made a save in the goal for the Falcons. A penalty corner for the Falcons resulted in a shot for
Lexie Zaring that missed just wide. Messiah continued possession with a shot from
Ellie Lefever saved by the Salisbury goalie before the Sea Gulls regained possession and earned a pair of penalty corners. The Messiah defense was able to prevent a shot on both corners before the Sea Gulls fired a shot on goal that was saved by
Joy Lippert. A late penalty corner was not enough for Salisbury as they missed the shot wide, and Messiah held the 1-0 lead into halftime.
Third Quarter
Aubrey Clark took an early shot to open the second half but missed just wide. The Sea Gulls found the equalizer on their first possession of the third with about 12 minutes to play in the quarter. The Falcons maintained possession after the goal, earning a penalty corner that results in a shot off the post for

Naomi Lyter to take back the lead 2-1.
Joy Lippert tallied one more save as Messiah held the 2-1 lead with one quarter of play remaining.
Fourth Quarter
The Sea Gulls fired a shot two minutes into play, but
Joy Lippert made the save in goal. Salisbury maintained possession for much of the fourth quarter as they looked for the equalizer. In the final 20 seconds of play, the Sea Gulls had a pair of penalty corners resulting in a blocked shot before another pair of penalty corners that resulted in a goal as time expired to notch the score 2-2 and force the game to overtime.
Overtime
In the first overtime period, Salisbury continued their heavy possession game from the fourth quarter, tallying three penalty corners and five shots, with
Joy Lippert making four saves in goal. Chelsea Carpenter fired a shot on goal for the Falcons, but the Salisbury goalie made the save.
In the second overtime period, the Falcons earned an early corner but were unable to register a shot. The Sea Gulls missed a shot wide before
Addie Weiler had a shot on goal saved by the Salisbury goalie. At the 75-minute mark, the Sea Gulls were awarded a penalty stroke, and the shot was fired past a diving Lippert to give Salisbury the 3-2 win.
