About Group Lessons

• Lessons are 30 minutes in length.
• Small group size of 4 kids per instructor
• Levels – 1 thru 3 (see description on registration page)
• Ages 3+ AND potty trained

NEW!  Wednesday & Friday mornings – 20-minute lessons for 1 yr and up! - $30/20-minute lesson

Tuesday & Thursday evenings - $45/30-minute lesson

• Instructor: Seraiah B.
• Lesson times: 6:15, 6:45, 7:15, 7:45pm

Friday evenings - $45/30-minute lesson

• Lesson times: 6:15, 6:45, 7:15, 7:15pm

Sunday afternoons - $45/30-minute lesson

• Instructor: Beth C.
• Lesson times: 1:15, 1:45, 2:15, 2:45, 3:15pm

Level 1 – This level is for children who have little or no water experience or have only ever used a floatation device to swim.  We will focus on skills such as water safety, floating on front/back, putting face in the water, and on the beginning motions of swim strokes.  Children at this level need hands-on assistance with all of these skills.

Level 2 – This level is for children who are beginning to try skills independently, but still need some assistance.  They are beginning to use arms and legs in a more efficient way and are bridging the gap to becoming an independent swimmer. We will continue to build on the skills of Level 1, but practice more independence with those skills. 

Level 3 – This level is for children who can swim independently, but need to work on stroke development, as well as deep water skills such as treading water.  Focus will be put on making their strokes more efficient, while also reviewing skills from previous levels.

• Go to Messiah Campus Recreation (https://falconrec.messiah.edu)
• Click on Sign In, in upper right.  Click on Messiah SSO and use Messiah credentials to log into Fusion.
• Once signed in, go to the top right under your profile.
• Scroll down and add your family members (children you are registering)
• Click on the blue & white box in upper left and select Programs.
• Search for desired swim lesson program.
• When you click Register, you will be prompted to select which child you are registering.

• Go to Messiah Campus Recreation https://falconrec.messiah.edu
• Once you have signed into Fusion, click on your profile/account information in top right.
• Scroll down and add your family members (children you are registering)
• Click on the blue & white box in the upper left corner and select Programs
• Search for the desired swim lesson program
• When you click Register, you will be prompted to select which child you are registering.

• Go to Messiah Campus Recreation https://falconrec.messiah.edu
• On the top left, click on the blue & white box
• Click on Sign Up & Purchase Membership
• Create your account
• Once account is created it will take you to the Search Memberships page – disregard.
• Go to Profile information
• Scroll down and add your family members (children you are registering)
• Click on the blue & white box again and select Programs
• Search for the desired swim lesson program
• When you click Register, you will be prompted to select which child you are registering.
