Daane Harvey enters the 2025-26 season as his first year as a grad assistant on the Messiah University men’s basketball coaching staff.
Harvey graduated from Calvin University in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education – Social Studies. During his time at Calvin, Harvey was a member of the varsity basketball team from 2021 to 2025. He won three consecutive league championships (2023–2025) and captured the conference tournament title in 2025. Harvey also made three NCAA Tournament appearances, advancing to the Sweet 16 and the Elite Eight. He had the honor of serving as a two-time team captain and was part of a program that achieved 90 wins over four years.
Academically, Harvey was recognized on the NABC Academic Honors Court for his commitment to excellence in the classroom. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership at Messiah University.
