Zac Hoy enters his eighth year on the coaching staff with the Messiah University men’s basketball program in the 2022-23 season. Hoy served as a graduate assistant for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons with the men's basketball program as well.
Hoy was a three-year starter and four-year letter winner for Messiah as the primary ball handler. He earned all-conference honors his senior season for his play at the point guard position. For his career, Hoy collected 326 assists (3.26 per game) against just 205 turnovers, for an impressive 1.59 assist to turnover ratio.
During his senior season, Hoy became just the 24th player in Messiah history to score 1,000 points in a career. He finished his career with 1,077 points placing him 18th on Messiah’s all-time list.
