In his freshman year Watson appeared in two games for a total of 12 minutes and 34 seconds. He faced two shots and saved both of them, not allowing a goal in his two contests. Watson also picked up two groundballs.

Mitchell Watson is a Nursing major from Greensboro, North Carolina. An extremely little known fact about Mitchell is that he is learning to speak Arabic. His most embarrasing lacrosse moment was trying to throw an outlet pass and the ball went backwards and into his own goal. His hobbies include guitar and singing. His favorite food is pasta with pesto. Psych is Mitchell's favorite TV show. His favorite professional sports teams are the Carolina Panthers and Hurricanes. In Mitchell's iPod you will find Matt Kearney, Phil Wickham, Copeland, The Fray, OneRepublic, John Mayer and more. In the future Mitchell would like to work as a nurse.
