Amy Hunt returns as a part-time Assistant Coach for Messiah softball in 2018-19.
She will be helping out with the team's catchers when at practices. Coach Hunt played for Messiah softball and women's basketball as a student.
She was formerly an assistant coach with Coach Weaver in 1998, where they took the team to their first NCAA Final 6, in Salem, Va. Amy then continued her education, as she was a grad. assistant for the Marietta College softball team in Ohio, in a very strong and nationally competitive league. She moved on to coach at Catoctin High School where she was the assistant coach for 1 year and head Varsity Coach for 6 years, where she obtained one State Title and two 2nd in the State finishes.
