Jennifer Cory

Jennifer Cory is in her second year as a graduate assistant with the Messiah College women's softball program in 2014-15. Cory joined Messiah after finishing her undergraduate degree from Misericordia University where she was a four-year letter winner for the Cougars.

Over four seasons with the Cougars, Cory played in 151 games with 117 starts. Known for her defense, Cory ended her career with a .971 fielding percentage while accumulating 174 putouts and throwing out 14 runners from the outfield positions.

Cory was a key player during her junior season, leading her squad to the NCAA tournament after the Cougars captured the program’s first ever Freedom Conference title. That year, Misericordia ended the season with a 28-17 overall record.

An accomplished student-athlete, Cory graduated in the spring of 2013 with a degree in Sport Management while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.90. She graduated summa cum laude and made the Dean's List all eight semesters while at Misericordia.

At Messiah, Cory is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in the higher education program with a concentration in college athletics management.
