Messiah University

Bethany Sauer is entering her seventh season with the Falcons in 2012, continuing to coach for her alma mater as a 2004 graduate.

A native of Bethel, Pa., Sauer arrived on campus as a student in the year 2000-- the same year that Scott Frey took the reigns as head coach of the women's soccer program. Once a fan of the team, Sauer now contributes as an instructor for Messiah's national powerhouse program.

Coach Sauer and her husband, Troy, reside in nearby Mechanicsburg with their daughter, Camryn.
