Coach Rich Zangle joins the Falcons for the first time since the 2015-2016 season. A native of Babylon, N.Y., he graduated rom Slippery Rock University in 1984.
In his time with Messiah Zangle has contributed to a stellar run of successful teams, including back-to-back-back MAC Commonwealth Championships for the men's team in 2014, 2015, and 2016, and the first-ever women's conference title in 2016.
Prior to joining Messiah College, Coach Zangle worked as an assistant coach for 10 years with nearby Camp Hill High School. As an assistant coach there, he had the opportunity to teach the game of tennis to competitors of all levels including many players who went on to compete in college.
As a coach, Coach Zangle possesses a passion for developing student-athletes to reach their potential through skill development and self-confidence. He also values a high commitment to unwavering standards of sportsmanship and academic performance.
Coach Zangle resides in Camp Hill with his wife, Beth, and their four children-- Sarah, Brad, Matt, and Gabby.
