The 2017-18 season marks Lauren Bond's second year as graduate assistant coach of the Messiah women's volleyball program. Bond is a 2013 graduate of Messiah and completed an impressive four-year career that put her near the top of the Messiah's all-time best players.
Bond was a four-time All-MAC Commonwealth performer, with First Team honors in each of her final two seasons. She also garnered an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American award during her senior season in which she set a single-season kills record with 446. At the time of her graduation she was also the all-time career leader in kills with 1,418.
As a graduate assistant coach Bond is pursuing a Master's in Higher Education with a concentration in College Athletics Management. She and her husband Casey reside in nearby Etters.
