Reading, PA - Lizzy Keeney and Cecilia Kjellman combined for six goals and five assists on Tuesday to lead Messiah College to a 15-4 win over Albright College. The duo scored or assisted on six of the Falcons' first eight goals as they went up 8-0 en route to a 9-2 lead at the half.

The win moves No. 18 Messiah to 6-1 in the Commonwealth Conference as they will now prepare for their final regular-season game on Saturday in advance of the conference tournament next week.

It took just 43 seconds for the Falcons to tally against the Lions on Tuesday, with Kjellman doing the honors off a free position shot. A few minutes later Keeney assisted on a score by Marybeth Bindel to put Messiah up 2-0.

The Falcons' onslaught would continue from there, as they would collect another six unanswered goals and take an 8-0 lead. Kiersten McGreer scored two goals and assisted on another in that stretch to complement the play of Keeney and Kjellman.

Messiah's 7-5 advantage in draw controls and a perfect 10-10 on clears contributed to their fast start as they took 22 total shots before the break.

The Lions finally ended the shutout with 13:04 remaining in the first-half as they scored consecutive goals to draw within 8-2.

The Falcons took a 9-2 lead through halftime before scoring three-straight times to open the second-half. Altogether they took 14 shots and committed just five turnovers in the final 30 minutes en route to the 15-12 win.

Taylor Phillips collected six saves for the Falcons in just under 54 minutes of play between the posts. Chelsey Anderson relieved Phillips for the final 6:11 of the game and collected one save against one goal allowed.

Maddie Comfort also stood out on the defensive end with a career-high seven caused turnovers.

Carly Bajus, Bindel, McGreer, and Madi Brunk each scored twice to join Keeney and Kjellman with multi-goal games, while Gabrielle Hamelryck pushed her single-season career-high in assists to 34 with two more helpers in the win.

The Falcons will look to end the regular-season on high note when they host Alvernia University on Saturday, Apr. 27 at 1:00 p.m. A win would guarantee the Falcons no worse than the No. 2 seed in next week's conference tournament, which is scheduled to start on Tuesday, Apr. 30.
