Carlisle, Pa - The women's tennis team wrapped up their fall slate of matches with a loss on Saturday afternoon to Dickinson 2-7.
Rachel Marcroft and
Rebekah Sheaffer claimed a doubles victory while
Angela Tozzi picked up the other win for the Falcons at No. 4 singles.
Doubles
The Falcons started off the day with losses at the No. 1 & 3 doubles courts.
Kasi Conjack and
Angela Tozzi lost their match 1-8 at No. 1 while
Sarah Fleming and
Hannah Murray dropped their match at No. 3 by a score of 3-8.
The Falcons found success with the team of
Rachel Marcroft and
Rebekah Sheaffer who have played really well this fall. They showcased that again on Saturday, getting a well earned win at No. 2 doubles 8-6. Going into singles the Falcons were down 1-2.
Singles
The Falcons only earned one more win on the afternoon and that came from
Angela Tozzi at No. 4. She won a three set thriller over Melissa Abbott 6-3, 0-6, (10-8) to earn the Falcons second and final win on the day.
At No. 1 singles,
Kasi Conjack lost to Martine Fierro 0-6, 1-6.
Rachel Marcroft continued her strong effort on the afternoon playing a well fought match against Arianna Goitz. Marcroft unfortunately fell short 5-7, 4-6 at No. 2 singles.
At No. 3 singles,
Rebekah Sheaffer lost to Olivia Carnevale 1-6, 4-6 after playing well in the second set.
At. No. 5,
Nicole Lee lost to Dana Kleinman 1-6, 2-6.
At No. 6,
Hannah Olson lost 2-6, 0-6 to Anabelle Armendarez.

The women's fall season came to an end after the loss on Saturday. They will take their 0-3 record into the traditional spring season in mid-March.
