Falcons Drop Road Contest At Lebanon Valley

ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Messiah women's tennis team fell 9-0 to the Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen Tuesday afternoon to drop to 1-6 on the season. The Dutchmen got off to a great start in doubles play, winning all three courts while only dropping eight total games to take a 3-0 lead.

In singles, the Falcons struggled to get anything going against a tough Dutchmen squad, losing all six courts to fall in the match 9-0. They will be back in action on Saturday afternoon when they host the visiting Hood College Blazers in Grantham at 1:00 p.m.

Doubles Play
As mentioned, the Falcons dropped all three courts during doubles play. Rachel Marcroft and Rebekah Sheaffer were able to claim four games on court two, before ultimately falling to their opponents 8-4.
