Rebekah Adams was honored before the match started. The win moves the Falcons to 3-6 to end the regular season. They will be the No. 5 seed in next week's MAC Commonwealth tournament as they travel to Owings Mills, Md. Tuesday to take on the No. 4 Stevenson Mustangs in the Quarterfinals.
Doubles Play
The third court of doubles was forfeited to give Messiah a 1-0 lead. The Falcons than took care of business on courts two and one as
Rachel Marcroft and
Rebekah Sheaffer swept court two 8-0 before
Kasi Conjack and
Rebekah Adams won court one 8-2 to make it 3-0 heading into singles play.
Singles Play
The Eagles forfeited courts five and six so the Falcons claimed the match 5-0.
Angela Tozzi on court three and
Rebekah Adams on court one had a clean sweep of their opponents 6-0, 6-0.
Hannah Olson only surrendered one game on court four (6-0, 6-1) while Eastern claimed court two to make the final score 8-1.Â

As mentioned, the win improves Messiah to 3-6 to end the regular season. They will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Stevenson University to take on the Mustangs in the quarterfinals of the MAC Commonwealth tournament.Â
