HILTON HEAD, SC - The Messiah women's tennis team took two doubles courts courtesy of Conjack/Tozzi and Marcroft/Sheaffer to open the match against Drew on Friday morning. Hannah Olson would tack on the additional win for the Falcons in the 3-6 loss. 

Match Play
Conjack/Tozzi went up early in their match 6-3 but found themselves in a tiebreak for the set. Messiah prevailed 7-2 in the tiebreak to take the set 8-7(2). Marcroft/Sheaffer played well and won their doubles match 8-4 while Murray/Lee lost their match 2-8.

The Falcons dropped all but one singles match and got the lone win from Hannah Olson, who won 6-4, 1-6, (10-8). Angela Tozzi also played well in her match but fell short in a third set tiebreak 7-6(3), 4-6, (8-10). The rest of the Falcons lost in straight sets in the 3-6 loss.

Messiah went 2-2 this week at Hilton Head and brings their overall record to 2-5. Messiah will play again on March 19 when they travel to Harford Community College.
