Hannah Murray on court five singles.Â
Messiah will play again on March 30, when they travel to Penn State Harrisburg to play at 3:30 PM.
Doubles
The Falcons found themselves down 1-2 after the three doubles matches to start the afternoon. Conjack/Tozzi lost 2-8 on court one while Murray/Fleming lost 5-8 on court three. Marcroft/Sheaffer were the lone doubles point for Messiah after picking up an 8-5 decision on court two.Â
Singles
Kasi Conjack lost at No. 1 singles 0-6, 3-6 to kick off the singles matches while
Hannah Murray was the next court to finish on court five. Murray won in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 to earn the Falcons second win on the day.
Rachel Marcroft played a great match on court two singles, also winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 to give the Falcons their third win on the afternoon.
Nicole Lee and
Sarah Fleming dropped their matches on courts four and six respectively by scores of 1-6, 3-6 and 3-6, 4-6.
Angela Tozzi was the final court to finish playing in a 10-point tiebreaker to decide court three singles. After being down 3-9 in the tiebreak, Tozzi fought back to 8-9 but fell in the tiebreak 8-10 for a final match score of 2-6, 7-5, (8-10).Â
DeSales would win the match 6-3.

The loss drops the Falcons record to 2-7 on the year and will travel to Penn State Harrisburg next week on Wednesday March 30, to play at 3:30 PM.
