HILTON HEAD, SC - The women's tennis team ran through Buena Vista early Wednesday afternoon. The Falcons swept the doubles and won five singles courts on the 8-1 win.
Doubles
The Falcons swept the doubles to take a 3-0 lead early and only added to that in singles. Conjack/Tozzi won their match 8-4 while Marcroft/Sheaffer won 8-2. Lee/Murray also won convincingly 8-1 to sweep the doubles.
Singles
With the courts wet earlier in the morning, the match time was pushed back to 11:00 AM and each match was played to an eight game pro set.
Kasi Conjack won 8-6 and
Rachel Marcroft won her match 8-4.
Angela Tozzi fell in her match 3-8 while the rest of the Falcons came away with wins on the afternoon.
Nicole Lee won by retirement,
Hannah Olson won 8-0 and
Rachel Dougherty won 8-1 to finish the match up 8-1.
