GETTYSBURG, PA. - The Messiah men's tennis team faced their toughest challenge of the season in the Gettysburg Bullets this afternoon and were swept 0-9. Against a stout Gettysburg front, Messiah struggled to find their stride in the majority of the matches.

The Falcons will host the Eastern Eagles on Saturday, April 1 at 1:00 PM at Criste Courts.

Messiah could not advance past the two games won mark on either of the three courts, combining for five total games won. Wilson/Rose and Baker/Gingerich both lost 2-8 while Niemi/Anderson lost 1-8. The Bullets took that commanding 3-0 lead into singles.

On the six courts, the Falcons picked up 12 games won, including a third of them from Jonathan Baker at No. 5 singles, who lost 1-6, 3-6.

Gingerich and Anderson both lost 1-6, 2-6 in their matches at No. 3 and No. 6. Wilson and Rose each picked up a game in their matches while Sell dropped his match 0-6, 0-6.
