GETTYSBURG, PA. - The Messiah women's tennis team ran into a tough opponent in the Gettysburg Bullets this afternoon and were swept 0-9. On nine courts of action, the Falcons generated a total of 12 games won.
The Falcons will host the Eastern Eagles on Saturday, April 1 at 1:00 PM at Criste Courts.

The team of Sheaffer/Walker earned the lone game win in doubles falling at No. 2, 1-8. Conjack/Heckman as well as Lee/Tozzi were shutout 0-8 in their doubles matches as the Bullets took a 3-0 lead into singles.
It was more of the same for singles with the exception of
Kylie Walker in the No. 2 spot for the Falcons, who was able to string together a close first set falling 4-6. In Walker's second set she fell 1-6 but her five games won was the most on any court for the Falcons.
On courts one, three, four, five and six, a total of six games were won amongst the Falcons.
Isabella Heckman fell 2-6, 1-6 on court three while Conjack, Sheaffer, and Lee picked up one game in their matches. Tozzi dropped her match at No. 6, 0-6, 0-6.

The loss takes the Falcons record to 3-4 and will look to turn the corner shortly for the beginning of the conference slate. That begins tomorrow on Saturday, April 1 when Messiah hosts Eastern at 1:00 PM at Criste Courts to open up the conference gauntlet that awaits.
