HILTON HEAD, SC. - The Messiah women's tennis team fell to the Falcons of Pfeiffer University this evening 6-3. In a match that started in the daylight ended under the lights of the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Club with the Falcons taking three courts on the day. The doubles team of 
Nicole Lee and 
Anna Lentz as well as singles wins from 
Kylie Walker and 
Nicole Lee were the Falcons three wins in the match.
Messiah will be back in action tomorrow at 4:30 PM when they face Roanoke.
On the courts
Messiah dropped courts one (Conjack/Heckman) and two doubles (Sheaffer/Walker) by scores of 8-4 and 8-2. The No. 3 doubles squad of 
Nicole Lee and 
Anna Lentz dominated their proset 8-2 to get the Falcons first win of the day.
The Falcons found wins on courts three and five, courtesy of laudable efforts from 
Kylie Walker and 
Nicole Lee. Walker won 3-6, 6-3 (10-5) rallying after a first set defeat while 
Nicole Lee won 7-5, 6-2 for the Falcons third win and final win on the evening as lights came on at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Club.
Kasi Conjack (1-6, 0-6) and 
Isabella Heckman (5-7, 1-6) both lost their singles at No. 1 & 2 in addition to courts four and six. 
Rebekah Sheaffer lost a close 4-6, 3-6 match on court four while 
Anna Lentz fought her way to a third set super tiebreak but fell 2-6, 6-4, (5-10).

The loss evens up the Falcons record for their spring break trip. The Falcons will face Roanoke on Wednesday, March 8, at 4:30 PM.
