CARLISLE, Pa, - The Messiah men's tennis team took on Dickinson College Saturday morning, in this non-conference matchup. The Red Devils got the better of the day defeating the Falcons 7-2 overall.

The Falcons will be back in action Friday Oct, 6 against Gettysburg College.

Doubles
The Falcons took court one over the Red Devils.
Chase Wilson and
Timothy Sheaffer won their match 8-2. However, it would be Dickinson taking ahold of courts two and three. Florian Anderson and Drew Allen knocked off
Michael Niemi and
Carl Anderson 8-5. On court three Romano De Caprio and Eddy Chow defeated
Ben Anspach and
Luke Risser 8-4. Heading into singles, the Red Devils would hold a 2-1 advantage.

Singles
Unfortunately for the Falcons, Wilson would be the only winner on singles courts. Both
Michael Niemi and
Carl Anderson forced tie breakers on their respective courts. However, it would not be enough, as courts two through six were won by the Red Devils.

Chase Wilson would pick up the lone win on singles court one by defeating his opponent (6-4, 3-6, 10-3) in a super tie breaker.

Sid Ramaswamy defeated
Michael Niemi 7-6(4), 6-4 on court two. DJ Finnell took down
Timothy Sheaffer on court three, defeating him in two sets 6-2, 6-2. On court four, Florian Anderson narrowly edged out
Carl Anderson 7-6(2), and 7-5. Drew Allen took down
Ben Anspach on court five, 6-4, 6-3. Lastly, on court six Spencer Goodman beat
Luke Risser 6-4, 6-2. Dickinson would win the day 7-2 and drop the Falcons to 0-3 on the season.
