GRANTHAM, Pa. - On Saturday evening, the Messiah men's tennis team suffered a 5-2 loss to the Red Devils of Dickinson College. Luke Risser and Brady Hahn won the lone courts for Messiah during singles play.

How It Happened
Doubles
The Falcons were unable to take any of the courts during doubles action. However, each team performed strong on each court. Chase Wilson and Brady Hahn took a couple points from the Red Devil duo, but could not close out the court losing 6-3. On court two, Falcons Timothy Sheaffer and Lance Wilson suffered a 6-2 loss. While lastly, Luke Risser and Elijah Noll gave the Red Devils a scare, but could not finish the on a high not, losing the set 6-4. 

Singles
Heading into singles play the Red Devils held an 3-0 match lead. On court one, Chase Wilson was able to force a third set following a 7-6(7) tie breaking loss in set one, taking set two 6-3. However, could not pull off the third set win, losing 7-5. On court two, Brady Hahn gave the Falcons a win following an 7-6, 6-0 victory. 

The Red Devils were bale to close out the match with a court three win giving them the 5-2 match win. Lance Wilson fought hard, pushing his opponent to the brink. In set one, Wilson forced 7-6(8) set, but lose the second 6-2 giving Dickinson the overall match win. Lastly, through courts four, five, and six Luke Risser would be the only Falcon to get a win under his belt taking the court by scores of 6-2, 6-3.
