GRANTHAM, PA. - The Messiah Womens tennis team tops Stevenson University 8-1 to move into second place in the MAC Commonwealth. The Falcons rallied to win all six singles courts to take down the Mustangs.
Messiah will be on the road against Hood College Wednesday afternoon.

Jocelyn Valdez dominated court three, cruising to an 8-0 win.

Kylie Walker followed them up with an 8-2 win on court two.

Bella Heckman would come up short on court one losing 8-3.

However, despite the court one loss, the Falcons responded in a big way.
Jocelyn Valdez opened singles action with a court six win by scores of 6-1, 6-1.
Kiara Bomboy would soon finish after her with a 6-2, 6-0 win of her own.
Rebekah Sheaffer found herself in a tough match but would prevail with 6-3, 6-4 set victories. Following Sheaffers win and the match already won for the Falcons,
Kasi Conjack,
Kylie Walker, and
Bella Heckman would finish off the day without losing a set. Conjack would get pushed in set one heading into a tie breaker up 7-6. However, she would pull through with a 7-5 tie breaker, Conjack would go on to win set two 6-3.
Kylie Walker dominated set one 6-1, but would also get pushed to a tie breaker in set two up 7-6. Walker prevailed with a 7-3 tie breaker win. Lastly,
Bella Heckman cruised to an 6-1 set one win. However, would also find herself in a tiebreaker but kept the clean sheet for Messiah winning the tie breaker 7-6 (7-4).
