Falcons Extend Their Win Streak to Four After Defeating Hood

FREDERICK, Pa. - The Messiah Womens tennis team improved to 6-8 on the season following a win against the Hood Blazers 7-2. The Falcons strong start on doubles courts led them to picking up the conference win on the road. 

Messiah will wrap up its regular season on the road against Alvernia. 

How It Happened:
Doubles:
Bella Heckman / Kasi Conjack found themselves in a closely contested match being forced into a tie breaker. However, the duo would prevail by a score of 8-7 (7-2). Kiara Bomboy / Kylie Walker had less hassle on court two picking up the 8-1 victory. Lastly on court three Naomi Parson / Izzy Ipri picked up a 8-3 win on court three. 

Singles:
A court one loss for the Falcons opened singles action. However, Kylie Walker picked up her teammate on court two with 6-1, 6-1 set wins of her own. Kiara Bomboy would take down her opponent 6-0, 6-0. Following a court four loss, Rebekah Sheaffer secured the Falcons win with 6-0, 6-1 set wins on court five. To cap off the day, Jocelyn Valdez won her court with a pair of 6-0, 6-0 wins.
