First Half
The Falcons controlled possession early on and looked for a chance to break the tie in just the ninth minute. After the Falcons pushed into the attacking third, Tahlia Llloyd got the ball in the middle of the field. Lloyd dribbled the ball towards the box and sent a ball to Hannah Adair just on the edge of the box. Adair turned past the Alvernia defender and ripped a shot into the bottom-right corner to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead. The Falcons then got two more shots on goal from Adair, but each shot was saved by the Alvernia goalkeeper to keep the game at 1-0 heading into the 29th minute. In the 34th minute, the Falcons looked to extend their lead with a corner kick. After Hannah Lashley sent the corner into the box, the ball bounced out to her and she sent another cross into the box. After bouncing off a few players, Lydia Ring ripped a shot, but it was blocked. The ball bounced around, and Ella Lent-Koop quickly poked a pass back to Ring. Ring then sent a shot into the top of the goal to extend the Falcons lead to 2-0.

Second Half
The Falcons pushed the pace to begin the second half with two quick shots on goal from Brittany Laird, but each shot was saved by the Golden Wolves' goalkeeper to keep the score at 2-0. The Golden Wolves responded to the early rush with a shot on goal of their own, but Ava Wert made the save to keep the Falcons lead at two. The Falcons continued the relentless pressure with two shots on goal from Mia Libby, and a shot on goal from Hannah Adair and Alayna Williams, but the Golden Wolves goalkeeper continued to make it tough on the Falcons with four big saves. The Falcons though looked to extend their lead in the 65th minute. Mia Libby ripped a low shot that looked like it was going into the bottom-left corner, but the Golden Wolves' goalkeeper made a great diving save. After the save, the ball stayed in play, and Hannah Adair ripped a sharp angle shot that bounced off the inside of the left post and into the top-right corner to give the Falcons a 3-0 lead. The Falcons added another goal in the 69th minute from Addi Martin after she finished a second chance opportunity that came off a Hannah Adair shot that ricocheted off the post.
