GRANTHAM, Pa. – On Thursday afternoon, Messiah Women's Tennis finished their homecoming match, which was paused due to darkness, falling to the Bullets of Gettysburg College, 4-3.

Doubles
On court one,
Kiara Bomboy and
Kylie Walker dropped a close contest 6-4. The team of
Susan Arp and
Isabella Heckman also dropped a close match, falling 6-4 on court two. On court three,
Isabella Ipri and
Jocelyn Valdez picked up a 6-4 win, but the Falcons went into singles play down 1-0 overall.
Singles
Due to darkness looking, the singles matches were single set matches played to eight games.
Kiara Bomboy dropped her match on court one, 4-8.
Susan Arp got the Falcons their first point of the match, winning 8-2 on court two.
Isabella Heckman followed with an 8-6 win on court three, tying the overall score, 2-2. On court four,
Kylie Walker dropped her match 4-8.
Isabella Ipri won her match on court six 8-1, with play having to be postponed with the match tied 3-3.
On Thursday,
Katelyn Good dropped her match on court five, 4-8, giving Gettysburg the 4-3 win.
