HILTON HEAD, S.C. – On Tuesday evening, the Messiah Men's Tennis Team picked up its first win of the season in a thrilling 4-3 match win over Baldwin Wallace University. Despite dropping two out of the three doubles courts, the Falcons responded winning four of the six singles courts including three tie breaker wins.

Singles:
The Falcons were able to pick up a win on court one with doubles team
Chase Wilson /
Lance Wilson cruising to the 6-2 win. However, the Yellow Jackets were able to pull out wins on courts two and three to capture the 1-0 lead in the match.
Doubles:
Chase Wilson had to battle on court one, despite dropping the first set 4-6, Wilson would pull out the win by taking set two 6-4 and winning the tie breaker 10-6.
Going down the order,
Brady Hahn would have a similar path to victory as Wilson. Hahn found himself down early in the match dropping set one 6-4. However, Hahn responded winning set two 6-3 and the tiebreaker 10-7.
Michael Sell proved to be too much for his opponent as he took set one 6-3 and set two 6-4 to win his court with ease.
Holding the 3-1 match lead,
Lance Wilson clinched the Falcons win on his court. Wilson similar to his teammates dropped the opening set 6-4 but rallied to win set two 6-3 and narrowly escaped the tiebreaker set winning 10-8.
