GRANTHAM, PA. – On Wednesday afternoon, the Messiah Women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 match to the Warriors of East Stroudsburg University. The Warriors were able to take all three courts from the Falcons and from that point on took advantage of the early lead to win all singles courts.

How It Happened:
Doubles:
The courts finished in reverse order as court three finished first. Jocelyn Valdez / Isabella Ipri suffered the early 6-0 loss. Duo Bella Heckman / Katelyn Good finished second on court two with a 6-1 loss. The Warriors would cap off doubles with a sweep of all three courts, taking the 1-0 match lead.
 
Singles:
Kiara Bomboy headed up the ones court with a 6-0, 6-0 loss to her opponent. Kylie Walker fell as well not far behind with a 6-0, 6-0 defeat. Jocelyn Valdez fought hard in windy conditions on court four, but dropped the match 6-0, 6-2. Now leading 3-0 in the match, the Warriors were in full command of the match. Bella Heckman battled on court three forcing tough points, however, suffered a pair of 6-2 losses. Courts five and six with Katelyn Good and Isabella Ipri rounded out the match with hard fought sets but came up short in both giving the Warriors the road win.
