GRANTHAM, PA. – On Saturday afternoon, the Messiah women's tennis team took down the Spartans of York College of Pa 7-0. Despite splitting the first two courts in doubles action, the Falcons were able to capture the 1-0 lead from doubles play. Messiah was than perfect throughout singles play, winning all six courts.

Doubles:
Isabella Ipri / Annie Forrey took court three by a score of 6-3. Despite dropping court two,
Kiara Bomboy /
Kylie Walker picked up the narrow 7-6 win on court one.
Singles:
To kick things off,
Bella Heckman took care of business on court three with a 6-4, 6-0 win.
Kiara Bomboy followed her up with a tightly contest 7-5 win in set one but cruised to a 6-0 win in set two.
Kylie Walker suffered a set one 7-5 loss but responded with two straight 6-2 wins, giving Messiah the 4-0 lead and the win.
Jocelyn Valdez,
Isabella Ipri, and
Calla Stoltzfus all picked up wins on their respective courts.
