GRANTHAM, PA. - On Thursday afternoon, the Messiah Women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 match to Penn St. Harrisburg in a non-conference battle. The Falcons were able to take two courts from the Lions with
Kiara Bomboy and
Isabella Ipri winning their courts in singles action. However, overall the Lions were able to best the Falcons in doubles play giving them that crucial 1-0 lead and took four of the six courts in singles.

Kylie Walker suffered the first loss of the day with a 6-3 loss. On court three,
Isabella Ipri /
Annie Forry dropped a 6-1 match, giving Penn St. Harrisburg the 1-0 match lead.
Jocelyn Valdez / Isabella Heckman would also drop court two 6-3, but the 1-0 lead was already secured.
Singles:
Kiara Bomboy provided the Falcons with some life by taking court one 6-2, 6-3 win. On court two,
Kylie Walker battled hard but came up short dropping set one 7-6 than falling in set two 6-2. Following a loss on court three from
Bella Heckman, Izzy Ipri picked up a big 6-3, 6-3 win on court six. However, despite the battles, the Lions were able to capture courts four and five to win the match 5-2.
